| Dave, I have an issue with the the way this weeks elimination played out. I understand that changes had to be made when the league went short by one owner, the night of the draft. I also have no concerns with the original plan that you provided in the League mesage 8-22 (copied here): "Since we went from 14 to 13 owners, I had to change the Survivor Challenge elimination rules. All teams will be safe for week 1. The week 1 high scorer will still get amensty for week 2. See the site for details." I looked through both sets of rules and do not see anything further detailing the elimination process for week 2. My porblem is that there was never a mention of the the cumulative score being used. Your post says that 'all teams will be safe from week1'. You also did not reply to the request in a league chat to clarify if the score would be from just week 2 or the combine score of weeks 1 & 2. It seemed pretty clear to me that week 1 was a 'Bye' week for all teams! It only seems logical that week 2 should stand on it's own, since there will be an elimination in week 3 based solely on the week 3 scores. I guess things could be interpreted either way, but the combine score seems illogical, when you stated that all were safe in week 1. No this does not effect me either way, except as an owner in the league. That's actually why I decided to chime in here. In my opinion the eliminated team should be the Super Yoopers with the low week 2 score of 90.6 points. Scott |
