| Hey guys, We're always open to rules suggestions such as this when it comes to the GLFFL because we feel it's the input of the owners that make the leagues as enjoyable as they are. Currently, an owner is suggesting that all Refugee Leagues change to a decimal scoring for yardage gained by RB, WR, TE & QB. He believes it's now time to give full credit for yardage gained instead of the archaic 1 point for 10 yards rushing and receiving and 1 point for 25 yards passing. Rushing and receiving would get .1 point for each yard gained and passing would get .04 for each yard. This would be consistent with the present scoring system, but will fill in all the yards gained between each 10 and 25 criteria. I'm going to try to steer traffic from all of our Refugee Leagues to this forum question and subsequent poll to get an idea of how the majority of the owners feel on this issue. | Why isn't this site our "primary source for contacting owners", or email? Is this how the rules for lineups got changed last year? I would like to see all rule changes to be suggested, discussed, and voted on in this forum, not somewhere else. This current proposal, change to decimal system, is no biggie either way for me. I'll go with the rest of the league on this. Lineup change was a big move, and I want any changes to be discussed and voted on by all active owners. |

| I'm not sure what you mean about the rule for lineups being changed. When we brought over leagues last year from KFFL, most of the rules came over completely intact, with a few changes added in based on how we try to stay consistent with all leagues (like with the Board of Directors voting on Trade Vetoes). How did the rule for lineups change between the KFFL days and last year? As for changes being discussed and voted on by all active owners on this particular site, it's not practical to handle all of the leagues that way when there are 90+ leagues throughout the GLFFL. That's part of the reason we have directed owners to the discussion forum for issues like that but also rest assured that we're not looking to make any kind of wholesale changes from year-to-year. Sometimes things come up as part of the discussion and need to be added to the message board with a vote but I do agree with you that those types of issues always need to originate from the individual league pages, which then in turn can point league members toward an all encompassing thread like this one. Didn't mean to offend, just trying to explain the practical nature of using a message board forum to contact all league members quickly (430 members can receive an email that way within 10 minutes) as opposed to league emails being generated manually for 90+ different groups of owners, a process that can take several hours. |

| Thanks for explaining why you prefer other site. I did not know. KFFL lineup difference ---not as much flex-1 or 2 RB/ 3 or 4 WR/ & 1 TE . Not that it matters for MISANTHROPES as we are in our own Matt Millen 7th yr of a 3 yr rebuilding plan. |
