| We have another surreal moment to remember from the 2008 season, right up there with Wolverhampton buying four tight ends, Spokane double-bidding on Adam Vinatieri and Tri-City drafting via flashlight. With the kickoff of Krohn Bowl XXIII 52 hours away, Kai Kruger waives running back Thomas Jones. Yes, that Thomas Jones ... the guy who scored a team-record 15 TDs for the Jets this year. Kruger (who hasn't made many moves this year) apparently was confused about how the waiver system works -- was trying to release guys to create roster space and accidentally cut his highest-scoring player. This will get very interesting if the coach of Wasilla files a lawsuit, gaining an restraining order against Jones being allowed to play. Most guys, I think, would wave it off as a Mulligan. Some, however, would insist that Jones not be allowed to play. This is a Krohn Bowl game, with lots at stake. |

| This is why you should practice throughout the season, Kai. Make lots of stupid roster moves to work out the kinks when it doesn't matter as much. That's what I do, and I have personally found it to be quite effective. Wasilla votes to let him correct the error. I want the Trolls at full strength, and he's already suffered enough with the double-header debacle. Besides, no Jones can harm me anyway. |

| Ian, can I get some clarification on the Troll roster? I see you put Jones back, but does he also get Looker, Akers and Scobee back, because I didn't know that was part of the deal. What exactly was he doing? I see that the Looker and Hill salaries are $0. Can you correct those too. I don't care how you fix it. I'm just trying to figure out what his bottom-line roster situation is. |

| I moved those salaries back to $1.00. Waiver deadline today is 3 pm. I'll run the grab bag, then guys will be available first-come first-serve for the duration. |
